We were honoured to welcome the Mayor of Enfield, Councillor Mohammad Islam, to our GBS Greenford campus recently. His visit highlighted the importance of education in driving community growth and fostering opportunities for learners from diverse backgrounds.

During his time on campus, the Mayor engaged with senior leaders, including Dr Dinesh Saraswat, Head of Community Outreach, Asim Dutta, Director of UK Business Development, Vanita Kerai, Chief Marketing Officer, GEDU and Nataliya Petkova-Radoycheva, Senior Lecturer.

The visit featured a tour of classrooms, where the Mayor interacted with students and gained insight into their academic journeys. Discussions with our leadership team centred around the role of education in empowering communities, creating career pathways, and driving positive social change.

At GBS, we are committed to strengthening ties between education and the wider community, ensuring that students receive not only quality learning but also the support and resources they need to thrive.
